I had so much fun two weeks ago (April 26th) at Society City in the Wollongong CBD watching live performances from locals Skarmekal and L.O.W, the Canberra-based Facecutter and Wisconsin legends Livid.

All of them were friendly enough to talk to me after their sets for some quick q’s. Here’s how it went…

Tallulah: Chatting with Leroy, Callum, Miko and Gabe

Hailing from Sydney, Leroy and Callum share vocals while Miko plays the drums and Gabe plays guitar in this pop-punk four-piece. If you got to see them live at SESFEST, and even if you didn’t, frankly, now’s a good time to get to know the boys behind the band.

EGOISM: Chatting with Scout, Olive and Adam.

The dream-pop trio EGOISM made their way down from Sydney to perform at SESFEST. I got to catch Scout, Olive (both co-lead vocals) and Adam (drums) in the green room before their stunning set.

Creeping Jenny: Chatting with (most) of the band 

I couldn’t catch up with this femme-fronted alt-rock, punk band after their set at SESFEST but they were kind enough to answer my video call a couple days later.
