It’s hard to believe we are already celebrating the 1 year anniversary of ‘Mountainhead’; Everything Everything’s seventh studio album.

This time last year I had so much anticipatory excitement for the release that I decided to use my energy to create a collaborative fanzine. I knew other fans would also feel inspired. The concept of the album was so vividly laid out in the first single ‘Cold Reactor’ which describes a giant hole dug by all of humanity at the expense of a giant pit.

As other tracks were released, lyrics describing new characters like “an enormous highborn moth”, a man with “a bomb for a body, a hammer for a head”, and a golden snake in the pit named “Creddahornis” continued to spark the imagination of fans everywhere. I scoured the deep dark crevices of the internet (Tumblr and Discord mostly) and collected submissions from 30+ collaborators from around the world!
